What Link Building Services Do I Use?

I am just fresh of clearing out my support questions that I have received over the past few days, and in a handful of these, I have been asked what link building services I use to rank my websites. Especially when it comes to ranking websites that I am preparing to sell, I generally take quite a lot of care when ranking these websites, however, a certain level of aggression is needed to ensure that I rank for some reasonably tough keywords. It is in this sense that I carefully pick the services that I use, as one slip up can result in some heart ache when you get the Google Slap.

Now, I need to make it very clear that when you are building links to a website, there is a certain level of care that is needed. For one, building backings too fast can be a bad thing. If a page is created one day, then the next day there are several thousand backlinks pointing to that page, then Google is most likely going to become wise, and the results are not going to be that fun to deal with. First things first, I will never EVER encourage anyone to build a site in 3 days and sell it straight away. That has nothing to do with adding value to a website, and seriously, what good SEO can you execute in that time? Can you even have an article approved in Ezine Articles in that kind of time? So, let it be said that the more time you take, the more value that you will add.

Traffic Bug

In recent times, Traffic Bug has been heavily labelled as a scam, however, I still beg to differ. In fact, the only reason that this is the case is because people are using it incorrectly. It is not a buckling building tool, it is a tool that establishes the initial links to your site or pages, and gets them indexed. When you first create a website, you will submit the URL to Traffic Bug, and it will submit that URL to various directories, and social bookmarking websites. Nothing more, nothing less. Content Crooner

After I have submitted articles to Ezine Articles, I will generally push that same article out to various other second tier directories. This is done using Content Crooner. You simply submit the article with the author credit field, and once approved, your article is submitted to anywhere up to a few hundred article directories. This service is one of my most powerful tools, it saves me a very large chunk of time, and builds up some very high quality links to my target URL’s. Article Marketing Automation

If you have never heard of a blog network, I will give you a quick run down. Basically, a large group of website owners submit their blog to a network, and they accept free content on the basis that they allow all links to be followable. At the back end of these sites is a blog network submission interface, where members can submit content to these sites. The beauty of this is that you can submit articles in the spin syntax, which if done correctly, means that you can get several hundred unique variations to your article. Links are allowable in the body of the article as well, making blog networks, such as Article Marketing Automation one of the most powerful and most effective link building services that there is. On average, you can earn up to 70 backlinks per submission depending on the quality of the article, and these are from a variety of different PageRank websites as well. SEO Link Vine is yet another blog network, much in the same manner as AMA where articles are submitted, and distributed through a very large network of blogs of varying PageRank. Again, this is an extremely powerful service that I use, and has resulted in not only ranking high for some tough keywords, but sheer domination. A Word Of Warning

As with any link building services, a certain level of care is going to need to be taken. Building links too fast is always going to end up being a bad thing, and with so many people ignoring the proof, rather wanting a quick win than an evergreen opportunity, I do need to emphasise that these services are extremely powerful, however, if they are used irresponsibly, or if you don’t vary your submissions (ie, don’t just submit to AMA, submit to Content Crooner, AMA, SEO Link Vine, etc), then you will always get an adverse affect. Go slow, build links naturally, and before you know it, you are going to see yourself ranking very highly for some keywords that you never thought you would rank for.
