Who would have thought that backlink indexing would be such a big problem? I mean, its all about the backlinks right? Wrong. It is about getting the attention of the search engines. Nothing more, nothing less. If your links are not visible to the search engines, then too bad. Your results = nada. Crawlers cant crawl in reverse – as much as that would be kinda cool.
If you would kindly allow me to “get my geek on” for a moment, I shall explain the problem for you. See, many people just like yourself, use similar methods to what I do. Article Directories, Blog Networks, (Trade Secret Removed), (Trade Secret 2 removed), and so on. What’s the problem here?
The problem is that the search engines are not psychic. Backlink indexing does not occur automatically!
CASE AND EXAMPLE – you generate a handful of links from, lets say, a blog network. You are going to be receiving a ton of links from other blogs.
So, you create a handful of these posts, and after a few days, you start scratching your head wondering why that other spammy looking site is still ranking above yours in the search engines. You open up Market Samurai, and you can see that your backlink count has not increased at all. When you build links, backlink indexing just is not occurring at all. You wonder why this is…
The answer really is quite simple here. The problem is that these properties often are poorly maintained, and don’t quite have an Ezine Articles effect where backlinks indexing occurs fast by way of being attached to a reputable domain. In most cases, the pages that you earn backlinks from are not even indexed in Google, so what does this mean? This means that a large portion of your efforts (again, 50 – 75% from my calculations) are done in vain, with no end pay off.
You know, I have heard this story countless times over and over again. I have seen people crack it when they get memberships to some of the most expensive blog and link networks online becuase they see exactly the same thing happen to them. So much effort with little return. Here’s a hint – It’s not the blog networks fault! Its your backlink indexing!
Let me ask you a quick, and highly predictable question.
“If a tree falls in the woods and no one is around to hear it….”
…I think you get the gist.
Here’s the thing. A website never will, and never can index itself without a little help. This means that regardless of how much work you are actually doing to increase your backlink indexing rate, you’re only going to a large number of your backlinking efforts go down the drain. Sad but true story, I know.
I want to let you in on a little secret that has seen me get around an increase of 200% in my backlink indexing though. Check out the screenshot below to see what I mean. Click the image to make it bigger.
This screenshot is of my Market Samurai Rank Tracker, when I pull up the data for the pages on this very blog that you are looking at today, that make me an income. Each of these pages can easily generate me between 300 – $500 per month. As you can see, I have had no problems at all in generating backlinks to those pages, and have had no problems at all ranking them highly in the search engines.
These aren’t your run of the mill keywords either. They are mid-high competition keywords.
Some are still yet to rank #1, but hey.. the income is good so far. I can only go uphill from here, but you can see here that my backlink indexing rate is quite substantial.
6 months ago, this very blog that you are reading only had around 500 – 600 backlinks. I have not slowed down, or sped up in my linking efforts either. So, why the increase?
You see, WordPress, apart from being a great blogging platform, it has some pretty nifty built in features that I have used to my advantage for the sake of good backlink indexing. Features that can be exploited for the greater good. Lets take Pingbacks for example. You know, those random comments that we tend to get more of than real comments, and we delete them out whenever we get them.
Check this video out to see how important PingBacks really are.
Does this low rate of backlink indexing ring any bells for you? Think about how much of your effort is going to waste, especially with the long hours that you work. (at least I know I did!)
The solution to this problem is a plugin called Pingback Optimizer (get your copy here).
Here’s How It Boosts Your Backlink Indexing
Pingback Optimizer creates an RSS feed using all of the pingbacks that your WordPress blogs receive, and sends them out to RSS directories. As the RSS directories get a lot of attention from Google, this means that the search engine spiders have a clear path to the pages that are linking to yours, thus, increasing your backlink indexing quite substancially.
Consider it as being your personal assistant that manually seeks out all links pointing to your page, and making sure that Google knows that they exist. Check out how it increases your backlink indexing here.
The Results Speak For Themselves
Again, not changing a single method in my approach to SEO, not speeding up or slowing down, I was able to turn 500 – 600 backlinks into 4000 within a few short months just by focusing on my backlink indexing. This has, undoubtedly, turned me into a serious contender in the markets that I compete in. Its my “10 Ton Hammer” so to speak. Just check out the screenshot above to confirm it with yourself that this actually works.
That said, my method of SEO is quite unique in its own right. So I want to offer you a bonus just to make sure that you are getting the best possible results from Pingback Optimizer.
Here’s The Thing…
In general, I am not the kind of guy who likes to make a recommendation for any old product. Yes, I earn commissions for sales, that said, I have a responsibility to you to make sure that if you take my recommendation, that you will get the very results that I talk about on this page.
Having said that, If you buy Pingback Optimizer today, using any of the links on this page, use the contact me page on this blog to send me a your receipt number, and I will send you a free video teaching you the very method that I use to build links to my websites and increase my backlink indexing, in particular, how to dominate above the fold, all whilst using Pingback Optimizer in order to increase your backlink indexing rate substantially.
Just grab Pingback Optimizer from this link (or click the banner above), then send me a your receipt number, and I will send it through to you right away.

Looking forward to the results. I use AMA myself and I found that you have to keep on submitting articles or the backlinks will drop off. Getting more of them indexed in the first place might help in that you can reduce the frequency of those posts.
Merry christmas and a productive, safe and healthy new year!
btw. I noticed that you put relevant ads up on the right side bar. Very neat! Which plugin do you use for that?
Hi Oliver, that is just part of the theme that I am using, not specifically a plugin. It allows you to create separate sidebars that you can select on a per post basis. I’m pretty sure that there is a plugin for it, have never really looked myself.
It is worth noting with services like AMA that regardless, you will always see links dropping off, the key is in utilizing those links that are not indexed, or may never be. If you can shoot a few links to those for the spiders to crawl, then that will help somewhat. Looking forward to publishing the results in the new year!
Merry Christmas to you too buddy!
Wow, pingback is really amazing plugin. I;m use it.
Glad that you get some good results with it Martin.
Since I updated this post recently, I have seen an increase myself in the number of backlinks that I talk about on this page alone equal to around 30% overall, and again, with limited SEO work being done.
Very powerful stuff.
Good info Ryan! Nice read. I think the big thing is, if we can get our site popular through more viral word-of-mouth means then the search engines literally feel they have to keep up and the number and quality of our backlinks becomes a lot less important. I know a ton of very successful bloggers who get nowhere in Google but have an avid following of constantly returning readers and that’s better really than the random first time visits one gets from Google. Although believe me, I am an SEO fanatic myself
Hi Adwello, thanks for visiting my blog.
I think you are right when it comes to word of mouth. The way that I generally look at it is that there is a more appropriate way of generating traffic for different scenarios. Affiliate marketing for example, you generally target a term, and rank for it. You can also buy that traffic using Adwords, etc.
That said, for a personal or information blog, you can easily use SEO to bring in your initial visitors, then rely on WOM from there on, plus RSS and email subscriptions.
If you can get people to your content a first time, that is the start of everything. Get them to subscribe, opt in, or talk about your content, and youre on a winner.
Hello Ryan!
first of all, want to thank you for the great value that you provide in this post
I want to let you know that I red the whole post even the comments two times, which make me confusing a little bit. In the post you SAID “I want to let you in on a little secret that has seen me get around an increase of 200% in my backlink indexing though.” WHILE when you reply to Martin you SAID “Since I updated this post recently, I have seen an increase myself in the number of backlinks that I talk about on this page alone equal to around 30% overall, and again, with limited SEO work being done.” So my question is what is the percentage of successful backlink indexing through this plug in?
I use pyramid link strategy so I still can index the 2nd link tire with this plug in as well?
appreciate the time you invest to replay:)
Hi Mark, thanks for commenting.
The 200% increase in my backlink count was based on a few months of SEO work that I did without the use of Pingback Optimizer, vs the following few months using the same method that I had been using previously, including the use of PBO.
The 30% was the increase between when I last updated the post, and when the comment was made.
That said… you can rest assured that if you do any kind of article marketing, you are going to get some real benefit using a plugin that promotes the backlinks that you create.
As for your question – if you are building links to other blogs that have the capability to ping other sites (which accounts for most websites these days), then this plugin will work quite well for you.
Good luck, hope that helps.
Hi,
I am looking for the back link builder for my new blogs and found your site from Google. Seem its great.
Is there a trial package where I can try your service before pay for it.
Looking for your reply
Steve
Hi Steve, there are a few services out there that will give you a quick trial. Pretty sure that Article Ranks and Build My Rank work on that kind of thing, but when it comes to anything that I talk about in this post – consider the simple fact that you found this post. This stuff works.
Let me know how you go.
Hi it has been a month I created my site and still it doesnt get into google’s directory I guess am doing something wrong . please help me to recover soon .
Hmm, if it is the domain that you are linking to in your comment, then it is really only a week or two old, so there is a good chance that you haven’t built enough links to the site just yet. Just keep building a few links, and it will get indexed before you know it.
A suggestion – with all of my blogs, I submit them to Google Webmaster Tools, and submit a valid site map whilst I am at it as well. That is a surefire way to get it done. If you need a hand getting this done, let me know and I will create a video.
Good luck!
Hi Ryan, nice post. but how do you know whether your backlink is index by google or not? Any good accurate tool? I’m able to see my backlink on yahoo site explorer. But it is quite hard to know whether google is indexing my backlink or not.
Regards
Azim
Hi Azim, thanks for commenting.
I use Market Samurai to monitor my backlinks, and a ton of other things such as competition analysis and so on.
Its a tool that I cant live without to be honest. It should help you get an idea of how many of your links are being indexed, plus a ton more. You can grab it at http://www.ryantmalone.com/ms
Hope that helps.
I had created 250 backlinks from high PR pages.PR ranging from 3 to 7. It is really easy for yahoo site explorer to show my backlinks. It takes only couple of days before the link got index by yahoo site explorer. But there is no improvement on my site ranking on google. Thus, I was wondering whether google already know about my backlinks. I checked the cached page from google and those sites that I get my backlinks from are quite heavily crawled by google. I never try market samurai before, but I heard a really good feedback about the tools. Btw, thanks for your link.
Azim
NIce article but still it’s needed more than backlinks to have good resault. From my expirience for top resault you’ll need to have very high clicktrough and it’s impossible without high quality content.
You are absolutely correct Jbird. Especially in this day and age where Google is placing so much emphasis on high quality content with their authorship markup and author rank. That said, backlinks are always going to form your foundation in this respect so that you can get the initial traffic, and rank for specific phrases much easier. Its all about competitive edge. Sure, create content that has massive value, but make sure that you have built your foundations too.
