What Does Google+ Do Differently To Everyone Else?

Google Plus

Google+ is here ladies and gents, and hasn’t it come along with a bang! Generally I do tend to keep all hype to a minimum when something new launches, that said… we all knew that Google was going to try and change the game, it was simply a matter of when it was going to[Read the rest of this post...]

PopUp Domination – Oh, Not Another Biassed Review…

Popup Domination - Get More Email Optin Subscribers

Popup Domination is that great looking email optin plugin that every single man and their dog were promoting recently Recently, and in true form, every single wannabe affiliate marketer jumped on top of this promotion as if it were the last single piece of bacon on earth, regardless of the fact that they have probably never used it in their life. Most of them probably bought the plugin for the first time with their first affiliate check.

Trust me. I know the type all to well.

Small Business Productivity – Plan Sunday & Implement In The Week

Trying To Get Too Much Done?

Here’s a prime example of small business productivity in action. It’s Sunday today, although knowing how slow I tend to work, this post will more than likely see the light of day on a Monday or Tuesday (Looks like Tuesday won the battle.). Now, is that because I take that long to post content, refine it and so on? Not at all… It’s because I have a greater plan, one that I work on every single Sunday without fail, and implement throughout the week.

Sounds like I’m planning to take over the world, I know, but the bottom line is that the most structured day of the week for me is Sunday, even if I do spend the majority of the day watching TV, cleaning, and doing other lazy “man stuff” that is not even slightly related to this blog or my network of affiliate blogs. In fact, I generally only spend around an hour on this task, and most of the time, my Macbook is switched off!

Getting Things Done, No Matter How Big The Task Is!

Getting Stuff Done

You know, it is so incredibly easy for someone like me to tell you that creating a 5 figure blog is an easy task that can be done by just about anyone, and ultimately, potentially sold for enough to make the idea of finally leaving your job sound like a real possibility.

The truth here is that as much as I may pass the idea that this is quite easy, it comes with some seriously hard work! And you know, when we have a great idea, much of the time we just stare at the sheer size of the task and struggle to get momentum because it is just too much work.

This Game Ain’t Always About Winning….

Trial And Error - The Comment On Facebook That Inspired This Post

The other day on Facebook, I had an interesting conversation with one of my followers, and I must admit, it got me thinking…

The question involved teaching a skill – in particular, teaching step by step, and eliminating the need to go through the “trials and tribulations” that is generally associated with being an upstart.

So… In response, I thought I’d tell you a story.

The day that I decided that I wanted to start working online, I remember it vividly. Oh, and I am using the term “working online” very loosely here by the way, I had no idea what I wanted to do, all I knew was that I had just created a website, and I could put ads on that website, which in turn meant that I was about to become insanely rich!. Apparently. I didnt know how much traffic I was getting, nor did I have any idea that the massively overkill dedicated server that I had set up for that one site was way more than what was needed.

How To Find Buyers With Fat Wallets For Your Website…

Ok, when you sell anything on a shop floor, what is the first thing that you do? You qualify the buyers right? Exactly. You want to make sure that the person that you approach is actually looking for what it is that you are selling.

See, the real world is good for that kind of thing. On the shop floor, we go person to person, greeting them, asking how their day has been, and ultimately searching for signs that they might be on the verge of spending their hard earned cash on something that we sell…

A Lesson In Affiliate Marketing Keyword Research And Analysis

Product Review keyword Targeting

There is no greater indication of the level of experience or expertise of an affiliate marketer than their choice of phrase that they choose to rank for. Think about that for a minute.

For æons (well, only a decade or so really), we have been taught about how to find good phrases that people are searching for when they are ready to buy and so on and so forth, but is there more to this than what meets the eye?

Lets make this quick…

One of the most popular methods that I know of (at least, the most visible method), and see being flogged shamelessly left right and center is the typical…

Why Most People Dont Make Money With Affiliate Marketing

Autoresponder Madness SOS Sequence

There are not many people in the Internet Marketing space that I actually trust. There is a large portion who simply dont know how to make money with affiliate marketing, but like to portray a persona that does. Seriously, I could count them on one hand. OK, maybe one and a half hands, that said, there is just so much noise out there that it makes my job pretty damn hard at the best of times.

Here’s the thing. I’m in the market of delivering my best content 100% of the time, or nothing at all. I dont just say that either. If I’m not living up to your expectations, there is always the big contact me button at the top of the page. Feel free to let me know if I am falling off the tracks.

Here’s the thing…

What Mt Everest Has Taught Us About Internet Marketing

Mount Everest, Nepal

I’m in the process of quitting cigarettes finally! So, I’ve been quitting with the aid of some medication to ease cravings and withdrawls, however the side effects have been downright brutal, withdrawls were immense, I actually ended up bedridden for two days with a combination of traditional withdrawl symptoms, plus a few others that I wont bore you with. So… with me being my grumpy self (not a pretty sight, I can assure you!), I ended up watching some Mt Everest documentaries to keep me occupied and calm.

Now… for those of you who dont know me personally (which I assume is many of you!), I have had this uncanny love afair with mountains since I was a little boy. I have climbed nearly every notable peak in the lower half of Australia, plus have trekked a large portion of the Tasmanian Wilderness, which is both nightmarish and incredible at the same time.

Some Suggested Reading For Internet Marketers (April 2011)

Internet Marketing Books

Do you remember those Goosebumps books that really broke out in the early 90′s? I used to read them like crazy. Seriously, as a 12 year old whipper snapper (please, pardon the Aussie slang), I could easily get through two of these books a day. I was obsessed.

It also added more fuel to the fire of my career ambitions, which ironically started out in 1990 when I was a mere 8 years old, having my writing work being submitted to competitions run by the national newspaper. I blew everyone away with my ability to literally make up stories on the spot without the need to brainstorm, and they were great stories too.

Yes. I wanted to be a creative writer all along, however, that is not the point of this post.

The point is that I actually stopped reading for quite a long time. Before I…
